Nawabshah: President Asif Ali Zardari has offered Eid-ul-Azha prayer at Zardari House in Nawabshah and prayed for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan. Following the Eid prayers, the President exchanged Eid greetings with the citizens and elders.
According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, along with provincial ministers and other dignitaries, called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Zardari House in Nawabshah today. During the meeting, the visiting notables extended their heartfelt greetings to the President on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. The leaders also exchanged views on the overall political situation of the country and other matters of mutual interest.
Speaking on the occasion, President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized that elected representatives should resolve the issues of the people of their constituencies on a priority basis and maintain close contact with the public.
