Pakistan’s Envoy Engages in Education Policy Dialogue at University of Oxford

Oxford: Pakistan's Ambassador to France, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, participated in a policy dialogue organized by the University of Oxford's Department of Education. The event focused on the theme, "How can policies make education equitable for all?"

According to Radio Pakistan, during the dialogue, Ambassador Baloch discussed UNESCO's education agenda and its role in promoting access to education. She emphasized UNESCO's efforts in providing policy guidance, technical cooperation, and supporting inclusive education systems.

The ambassador also detailed Pakistan's support for UNESCO's initiatives aimed at ensuring equity and access in education. She spoke about the importance of innovative financing solutions for the education sector and stressed the value of collaboration among policymakers, academia, and civil society to enhance coherence in education policies.

Furthermore, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch addressed the issue of out-of-school children and presented Pakistan's Education Emergency Plan. This plan aims to increase access to education, improve foundational learning, boost digital inclusion, and advance girls' education.
