Festivities Continue on Second Day of Eid-ul-Azha

Islamabad: The second day festivities of Eid-ul-Azha are continuing today with great devotion and passion. Faithful are continuing to perform the ritual sacrifice of animals to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismael (AS).

According to Radio Pakistan, people are visiting the homes of their relatives, friends, and loved ones, hosting elaborate "Eid Milan" parties, and enjoying delicious meals. They are also visiting recreational places, parks, zoos, and seaside points with their family members to enjoy the festive atmosphere.

In rural areas, traditional sports festivals and folk fairs have been organized, which have doubled the excitement and pleasures of Eid. In the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, people are visiting their relatives, parks, and other picnic places to enjoy the day. Spots like Lake View Park, Pakistan Monument, F-9 Park, Rose and Jasmine Garden, Ayub National Park, Jinnah Park, Damn-e-Koh, and other small parks are witnessing a huge influx of people despite the scorching heat.

Elaborate security arrangements have also been made by the authorities to facilitate the people.
