Saudi Arabia's Project for Utilization of Hady & Adahi, managed by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), has completed all its preparations for the Hajj season 1440AH after conducting field tests to examine the readiness of all the technical, administrative and supervisory teams in the operational sites.
IsDB President and Head of the Hajj Meat Utilization Committee Dr. Bandar Hajjar confirmed the readiness of the project to work as planned in the operational sites to slaughter more than one million Adhiya (sacrificial animals) during the legitimate time of slaughtering. This is after conducting many preparatory experiments, to ensure the smooth progress of work in accordance with the operational plans to serve the pilgrims and facilitate the performance of their rituals.
Hajjar stressed that the sacrificial meat project has commenced preparations for this year's pilgrimage since the end of last year's Hajj season. He pointed out that more than 40,000 people are employed annually to start work with the start of the days of Tashreeq.
The IsDB president praised the support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the sacrificial meat project, in facilitation for the Hajj pilgrims.
