London:Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb met with the Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank, Bill Winters, today. According to Radio Pakistan, the Finance Minister expressed his appreciation for the bank's ongoing support and cooperation in various financing and capital market transactions. Discussions during the meeting included Pakistan's ongoing structural reforms, recent macroeconomic developments, and potential future collaborations, such as tokenization, international Sukuk, and other financing opportunities. Both parties also explored potential capital market transactions to assist the government's privatization program, focusing on opportunities for both buyers and sellers. Muhammad Aurangzeb highlighted that Standard Chartered Bank's strong investor network across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia could significantly aid in fostering investor outreach and enhancing Pakistan's presence in international markets.
