Islamabad: A delegation of the World Bank, led by Vice President for South Asia Martin Raiser, called on the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, in Islamabad. The meeting centered around various ongoing public welfare projects supported by the Bank across multiple sectors.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting highlighted the progress on several World Bank-assisted projects with a total cost of 1.9 billion dollars. Discussions included the implementation of the Chashma Right Bank Lift Canal and the Peshawar-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway projects. The World Bank team conveyed their interest in collaborating on the CRBC project.
