The United States has launched a project on ‘Improving Girls’ Education Activity’ to provide quality education to girls in remote areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The US Ambassador Donald Blome inaugurated the initiative at a cost of four million dollars in Peshawar along with KP minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Shahram Khan Tarakai .
Ambassador Blome also visited the Eleanor Roosevelt Corner at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women’s University in Peshawar.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the United States is proud to invest in and support the safety and prosperity of women and girls throughout Pakistan.
KP Minister for Secondary education expressed his confidence that with the cooperation of US government for improving Girls’ Education, the KP government will make school management more efficient, thereby improving school quality.
