Mina: Two hundred personnel of the Federal Constabulary's Special Diplomatic Protection Unit are set to receive training in Saudi Arabia. This development was finalized during a meeting between Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Saudi counterpart, Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud, held in Mina, Saudi Arabia.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting also concluded with the decision that a high-level delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Interior will soon visit Pakistan. This visit aims to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two nations. Discussions during the meeting focused on enhancing Pakistan-Saudi bilateral relations and internal security cooperation.
Additionally, the meeting included talks on the latest regional situation, where the Saudi Interior Minister acknowledged Pakistan's significant contribution to easing regional tensions. The meeting also featured an exchange of Eid-ul-Adha greetings and well-wishes between the two ministers.
The Saudi Interior Minister extended his congratulations to Mohsin Naqvi on performing Hajj, while Naqvi expressed his appreciation for the exceptional arrangements made by the Saudi government during the pilgrimage.
