Karachi: An important meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi today accorded approval to the phase two of Karachi Safe City Project at the cost of 9.98 billion rupees.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was informed that over twenty-three hundred smart cameras will be installed in different parts of the city under phase two. The project will be completed within a year and formally launched in May next year.
Addressing the meeting, the Sindh Chief Minister said the project will further enhance the security, surveillance and capacity of law enforcement agencies in the city.
