Haripur: In observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, a seminar titled ‘One Nation, One Destination: Drug-Free Pakistan’ was organized by the Directorate of Administration at The University of Haripur.
According to The University of Haripur, Dr. Muhaimin, Assistant Professor at the Department of Islamic and Religious Studies, delivered a lecture addressing the moral, spiritual, and societal consequences of drug abuse. He stressed the importance of awareness, prevention, and youth engagement in building a drug-free society.
Major Muhammad Iqbal (Retd.), Director Administration, also addressed the audience, emphasizing the university’s ongoing efforts to promote a safe, healthy, and drug-free campus environment. He urged students to become ambassadors of positive change and to report any concerning behavior to university authorities without hesitation.
The event was attended by a large number of students, faculty, and administrative staff, demonstrating the collective commitment of the university community toward eliminating the threat of drug abuse.
