Russia has carried out missiles attack on critical infrastructure in Kyiv, Kharkiv and other Ukrainian cities early this morning.
According to mayor of Kyiv, the attacks have caused power and water outages.
Ukrainian Air Force says it managed to shoot down 44 out of the 50 cruise missiles.
The strikes come after Russia blamed Ukraine for a drone attack on its Black Sea Fleet in the annexed Crimea.
On the other hand, Russia has asked the UN Security Council to meet today to discuss the attack on its Black Sea Fleet which it has accused Ukraine of carrying out.
Moscow said 16 air and maritime drones attacked civilian and Black Sea Fleet vessels in the Bay of Sevastopol in Crimea on Saturday.
