Punjab Governor Vows to Defend Sovereignty of Islamic Countries

Lahore: Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Islamic countries at all global platforms. He made these remarks during a meeting with Consul General of Iran in Lahore, Mehran Mowahid Far, at the Iranian Consulate in Lahore on Thursday.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Governor praised Iran for its strong and effective response to Israeli aggression, stating that Iran emerged victorious in the face of hostility. He emphasized the importance of unity among Islamic nations in confronting external threats and maintaining their independence.

On his part, Iranian Consul General Mehran Mowahid Far expressed gratitude towards the Pakistani people and government for their support against Israeli actions. He highlighted the need to enhance trade relations between the two neighboring countries to further strengthen their bilateral ties. The meeting underscored the shared interests and mutual support between Pakistan and Iran in regional and international matters.
