Punjab CM Reaffirms Commitment to Well-Being of Masses

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has reaffirmed her commitment to the safety and well-being of the people of the province. In a statement released on Sunday, the Chief Minister outlined key measures aimed at improving governance and public service delivery in the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized that the Highway Patrol is being revitalized to ensure safe travel on Punjab’s roads. Additionally, she assured that the legal rights of prisoners will be fully safeguarded. These efforts are part of a broader initiative to enhance governance and address public concerns effectively.

Under the directives of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a Directorate of Monitoring Cell has been established within the Home Department. This cell is tasked with overseeing various initiatives to ensure their effective implementation and to address any emerging issues swiftly.

Furthermore, a dedicated helpline, 1124, has been launched to address complaints related to the Prisons Department, Civil Defence, Highway Patrol, and private security companies. The public can use this helpline to seek guidance or report complaints related to these departments, ensuring a direct line of communication between citizens and the relevant authorities.
