Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz has lifted the ban on closing of markets and bazaars at 9 pm across the province to facilitate the people and business community on the eve of Eid ul Adha.
In a statement in Lahore, Punjab Chief Minister said this decision is being implemented across the province till Eid ul Adha.
He said government has taken decision for the convenience of people for shopping in the markets.
Islamabad Capital Territory administration has also suspended business closure timings till 10th of this month due to Eid-ul-Azha.
The previous order for closure of shops and establishments will come into force with effect from 11th of this month.
Following the federal government decision to tackle the current energy crisis the Islamabad administration had limited the operational hours of markets, shopping malls, wedding halls and restaurants.
