Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says the PTI government does not support bloc politics at international level.
Talking to officers of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad today [Friday], he said vision of foreign policy in Naya Pakistan is to keep national interests supreme.
The Foreign Minister emphasized that attaining economic stability is vital to pursuing a strong foreign policy.
He said the PTI government is not in favour of brewing discords with foreign countries but believes that no compromise should be made on national sovereignty and integrity.
The Foreign Minister mentioned several initiatives taken by the government at the foreign policy front, including economic diplomacy, Engage Africa policy, Central Asia Vision policy, and the establishment of Strategic Communication Division.
He said efforts of Pakistani diplomats are being acknowledged abroad and huge remittances sent by the diaspora is a reflection of this fact.
