Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the conferment of civil awards on fifteen members of the National Task Force on Power Sector Reforms.
According to Radio Pakistan, the approval was given on the recommendation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Under the approval, ten members will be conferred with the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, while five members will receive the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.
This decision highlights the government's recognition of the contributions made by the task force members in addressing challenges within the power sector. The awards aim to honor their efforts in implementing reforms and improving the sector's efficiency and effectiveness.
