Islamabad:The PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter has released a White Paper criticizing the governance of the provincial government.
According to Radio Pakistan, the document was presented by Prime Minister's Coordinator Ikhtiar Wali Khan and Member National Assembly Samar Haroon Bilour during a news conference. They highlighted a precarious law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, accusing the PTI-led provincial government of showing eagerness to facilitate terrorists.
The PML-N leaders pointed out that more than eight hundred billion rupees had been allocated to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for counter-terrorism efforts. However, they criticized the provincial government for failing to adequately equip the police with necessary sophisticated weapons and equipment.
They argued that the provincial government is using Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's resources for political purposes rather than focusing on public welfare. Additionally, the PML-N leaders expressed concerns over the rising terrorism in the region and the neglect of the education and health sectors by the provincial government.
The leaders also accused the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government of attempting to politicize the police force.
