Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has termed the revival of the IMF program as a positive development for Pakistan’s economy.
In a statement today (Monday), he said the restoration of the IMF program has eliminated the threat of economic bankruptcy of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister said the IMF program is just a step and Pakistan’s goal is economic independence.
He said the revival of the program will bring economic stability to Pakistan.
The Prime Minister also appreciated the efforts of Finance Minister Miftah Ismail and his economic team for revival of this program.
The Prime Minister said we pray to Allah that this is the last program of IMF and Pakistan will never need it in the future.
