PM Shehbaz Embarks on Diplomatic Visit to Riyadh

Riyadh: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has departed for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on an official visit. He is attending on the invitation extended by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

According to Radio Pakistan, accompanying the Prime Minister are Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Federal Minister for Environment Musadik Malik, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi. The delegation is set to engage in a bilateral meeting with the Crown Prince to discuss the comprehensive scope of Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations.

The meeting is anticipated to include discussions on regional and global developments that are of mutual interest to both nations. The visit aims to lead to the formalization of cooperation across various sectors, highlighting the dedication of both countries to enhancing their longstanding ties.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stated that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have a historic relationship based on shared faith, values, and trust. The Prime Minister’s visit will serve as a significant opportunity for the leaders to strengthen this partnership and explore new areas of collaboration for the benefit of both countries’ populations.
