According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of the prudent use of national resources and assured that once economic stability is achieved, the government will offer maximum relief to the populace. He highlighted the necessity of timely action in light of the current global scenario to secure the country's economic position.
The Prime Minister underscored the government's ongoing efforts to monitor the economic situation and vowed to take all necessary actions to maintain stability. He called on government employees, ministers, and senior officials to embrace austerity and simplicity.
Shehbaz Sharif directed the federal cabinet, elected representatives, and senior government officials at both federal and provincial levels to play a significant role in providing relief and ensuring effective resource utilization. He stressed that the responsibility of savings should be distributed equitably, urging privileged and elite groups to lead by example in making necessary adjustments.
