Pakistanis in Bishkek asked to stay indoors amid mob riots


The Embassy of Pakistan in Kyrgyzstan has advised the Pakistani students to stay indoors amidst mob violence taking place outside the student hostels in Capital Bishkek.

Ambassador of Pakistan in Bishkek Hasan Zaigham assured that the embassy is liaising with the local law enforcement authorities to ensure safety of the Pakistani students.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Foreign Affairs has activated its Crisis Management Unit on the instruction of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar.
