Pakistan Calls for Global Action Against War Crimes in Kashmir and Palestine

Islamabad: Pakistan has officially urged the international community to confront and address the alleged war crimes occurring in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and Palestine. This appeal was made during a debate on Crimes against Humanity at the United Nations General Assembly.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, “Deputy Permanent Member of Pakistan to the United Nations, Usman Iqbal Jadoon, expressed deep concerns regarding the persistent state of occupation, oppression, and violence in these regions.” During his address, Jadoon labeled the actions by Israeli forces in Palestine as constituting war crimes, crimes against humanity, and potentially, genocide, as previously determined by the International Court of Justice.

Jadoon emphasized that Israel should immediately and unconditionally cease its occupation of Palestinian territories and end its illegal policies. He also highlighted the need for global cooperation to eliminate impunity for those accused of such serious crimes, advocating for concerted international efforts to bring justice to the affected regions.
