Pakistan and Turkiye Commit to Strengthening Strategic Partnership

Islamabad: Pakistan and Turkiye have reaffirmed their unwavering support for each other's core national interests, agreeing to maintain close coordination and continue working together to deepen their strategic partnership. The pledge was made at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister of Turkiye Hakan Fidan in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister underscored the historic and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Turkiye, which are rooted in shared history, culture, and mutual respect. He expressed satisfaction with the positive trajectory of bilateral relations and reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to expanding cooperation with Turkiye across all sectors of mutual interest.

The discussions provided an opportunity to review the full spectrum of bilateral relations and explore avenues for strengthening the longstanding strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries. The two leaders also exchanged views on recent regional developments, including the evolving situation in Iran, and emphasized the importance of dialogue and sustained diplomatic engagement to promote peace and stability.
