New York:Pakistan and Benin have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations, focusing on economic and trade cooperation.
According to Radio Pakistan, this reaffirmation took place during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar of Pakistan and Benin's Foreign Minister Corinne Amori Brunet on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest. The two ministers signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish bilateral political consultations between their countries. This MoU aims to institutionalize a framework for regular dialogue and consultations between Pakistan and Benin.
