The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has discovered gas condensate at Tolanj West-2 development well in Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to details, the well at Lockhart formation was spudded in on April 10.
The target site was tested successfully at the rate of eight point three million standard cubic feet per day gas and thirty-four barrels per day of condensate.
An official of the Oil and Gas company said this discovery will help and contribute towards improving the energy security of the country from indigenous resources.
