Islamabad:Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima expressed satisfaction over the increasing presence of technology companies in Pakistan, attributing this growth to sustained government support.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister spoke to the media during the inauguration of the Huawei Spare Parts Repair Center in Islamabad.
She emphasized that the establishment of the Repair Center is a positive development, expressing confidence that it will benefit not only Pakistan but the entire region.
The Minister also noted that domestic repair of telecom equipment is helping to save valuable foreign exchange, with savings already amounting to one million dollars.
