KSE-100 Bullish Momentum to Continue

Karachi: The KSE-100 index opened on a positive note and maintained a bullish stance throughout the trading session. The index reached an intraday high of 3,239 points before closing with a gain of 2,333 points at 124,379. Despite the positive trend, trading activity experienced a slowdown, with volumes declining by 10% compared to the previous session.

According to AKD Securities Limited, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator has turned bullish as it is trading above its signal line. The MACD crossed above its signal line in the last trading session, which has resulted in the index trading within a range from a high of 125,285 to a low of 122,223. This suggests that the bullish momentum may continue in the coming sessions.
