Japan will provide grant assistance worth 13.3 million dollars for upgrading girls primary schools in Sindh and improvement of equipment for Taxila Museum.
An agreement to this effect was signed in Islamabad on Friday between Japanese Ambassador Wada Mitsuhiro and Secretary Ministry of Economic Affairs Dr. Kazim Niaz.
The upgradation of girls’ primary schools will contribute to improving enrollment rates and reducing gender gap in rural Sindh.
The grant for Taxila Museum will help conserving the cultural artifacts as per international standards.
