Islamabad:Deputy Inspector General of Islamabad Police Ali Waseem has directed officers to strengthen security arrangements, enhance field policing, and ensure effective action against criminal elements.
According to Radio Pakistan, DIG Ali Waseem chaired a virtual meeting to assess the law and order and security situation in the federal capital. He emphasized the importance of utilizing all available resources to protect citizens' lives and property.
The officers were instructed to focus on effective surveillance of important locations, increase patrolling, and conduct thorough checks of suspicious persons and vehicles. The DIG also highlighted the need for security arrangements to be continuously reviewed in line with the prevailing situation.
