Info Minister Attaullah Tarar Visits LoC with Media to Counter Indian Claims

LoC: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar visited the Line of Control along with local and foreign media representatives. The visit, facilitated by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, aimed to expose what Pakistan claims to be false and baseless Indian propaganda.

According to Radio Pakistan, media representatives were shown specific locations that India has allegedly labeled as terrorist hideouts. By witnessing the ground situation, hearing from the local population, and observing the environment firsthand, the media had the opportunity to assess the truth behind India’s claims.

Speaking on the occasion, the Information Minister stated that India has repeatedly made baseless accusations against Pakistan. He emphasized that Pakistan has presented all the facts before the national and international media. The locations that India claims to be imaginary terrorist camps are, in fact, civilian areas, he asserted.

Attaullah Tarar highlighted that Pakistan is a responsible state committed not only to regional but also to global peace. He reiterated that Pakistan condemns terrorism and terrorist activities anywhere in the world and has consistently demonstrated its advocacy for peace through its actions.

The Information Minister further asserted that Pakistan will go to any extent to defend its sovereignty. He urged India to take notice of the human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir before making accusations against Pakistan.

He criticized India’s use of propaganda along the Line of Control, suggesting it is an attempt to divert attention from internal failures. The international media, he claimed, has now seen the reality for themselves. Tarar concluded by reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and warning that any Indian aggression would be met with a swift and decisive response.
