Islamabad: Indian troops in their continued act of state terrorism have martyred two Kashmiri youth and arrested another in Rajouri district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir: Indian troops have reportedly opened fire during a massive cordon and search operation in the Keri area of the district, resulting in the instant death of the youth.
According to Radio Pakistan, the incident has sparked further unrest in the region, which has been under heightened tension. The operation also included a raid on the residence of jailed activist Muhammad Maqbool Wani in the Pampore area of Pulwama district. During this raid, family members were harassed, valuables and digital devices were seized, and household items were damaged.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed strong condemnation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for presenting himself as a proponent of democracy on the international stage while suppressing dissent within India and its occupied territories. APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas highlighted that Modi’s anti-terror rhetoric abroad contradicts his administration’s actions in Kashmir, including state terrorism, arbitrary detentions, and enforced disappearances. He stated that Kashmiris have rejected these double standards and remain resolute in their quest for freedom.
The National Investigation Agency’s probe into the Pahalgam incident has cast further doubts, with reports of 184 hate attacks across India against Kashmiris and Muslims between April 22 and May 8.
