Hot, Humid Weather Expected Across Most Parts of Country

Islamabad: Hot and humid weather is expected to prevail over most parts of the country. However, rain-wind thunderstorms may occur at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during evening and night. According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures in major cities are expected to be as follows: Islamabad at twenty-three degrees centigrade, Lahore twenty-six, Karachi twenty-seven, Peshawar twenty-five, Quetta sixteen, Gilgit and Murree fifteen, and Muzaffarabad twenty-two degrees centigrade. The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts partly cloudy and dry weather in several regions. Srinagar is expected to have a temperature of eighteen degrees centigrade, Jammu twenty-five, Leh ten, Pulwama and Baramula seventeen, and Anantnag and Shopian sixteen degrees centigrade.
