Govt striving hard to improve condition of Pakistan Railways: Saad

Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that present government is striving hard to improve condition of Pakistan Railways.

He stated this while addressing Railways first ever Branding Conference under the aegis of RAILCOP, Railways Pakistan in Lahore on Monday.

He said that branding will be done of specific railway stations in different parts of the country within the next sixty days to raise revenue.

He said that all equipment and related gadgets installed for branding purposes will be properly protected.

He said the Supreme Court has accepted our point that we can use Railways land for commercial purposes for five years.

The Railways Minister said that the present government is working seriously on the ML-1 which is a CPEC project.

He said that Pakistan will manufacture 184 coaches itself as we have got a high standard human resource.
