Govt Reaffirms Commitment to Rural Development, Says PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the well-being and development of the rural population. In his message on the occasion of the World Day for Rural Development, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized the government’s pledge to uplift the country’s rural citizens, supporting them as equal partners in crafting a stronger, more equitable, and prosperous Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted that Pakistan’s villages not only nourish the population but also preserve the nation’s centuries-old values of resilience, cooperation, and tradition. He underscored that on this significant day, Pakistan stands with the international community in observing the World Day for Rural Development, recognizing the invaluable contributions of the rural population and reaffirming the commitment to their well-being and development.

Shehbaz Sharif further emphasized that his government continues to prioritize inclusive rural development as a central pillar of national progress.
