Makkah: Under a government-sponsored Hajj scheme, 81,950 Pakistani pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia via 319 flights. The operation, which is part of a comprehensive strategy, ensures the smooth transportation and movement of pilgrims in coordination with the Makatib.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Hajj flight operation from Pakistan will continue until Saturday. The arrival of pilgrims traveling from Madinah to Makkah is also expected to be completed by Saturday. The government has advised pilgrims to adhere to the guidelines and instructions issued by Saudi authorities, emphasizing the importance of carrying essential items like an umbrella, a water spray bottle, and ORS, especially during the days of Hajj.
Upon their arrival at Makkah’s hotel, the pilgrims from Islamabad received a warm welcome from Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, Secretary Religious Affairs Dr. Ata Ur Rehman, Chief Coordinator Dr. Mirza Ali Mehsud, DG Hajj Mission Abdul Wahab Somoro, Director Makkah Azizullah Khan, Director Coordinator Zulfiqar Khan, and representatives of the Saudi Company Al Rajhi. The pilgrims were greeted with gifts, flowers, sweets, and a shower of rose petals.
