G20 Summit kicks off at Bali in Indonesia

The G20 Summit kicked off at Bali in Indonesia today (Tuesday).

In his inaugural address to the Summit, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, who is also chair of the Summit, called on member states to end the conflict.

The Indonesian President said the G20 must be the catalyst for inclusive economic recovery. He said we must not divide the world into parts, and must not allow the world to fall into another cold war.

The US President Joe Biden, Chinese President Xi Jinping, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and other leaders are attending the event.
