New York:Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has emphasized the importance of translating climate commitments into tangible results for communities.
According to Radio Pakistan, Aurangzeb spoke at the high-level event on the Climate Implementation Bridge (BRIDGE) in New York, where he outlined key requirements for effective climate policy implementation. These include a sound policy framework, access to finance, and the capacity to deliver projects at the national level.
He also highlighted Pakistan's progress in climate policy and its efforts to secure financing through domestic resources, international financial institutions, capital markets, and climate funds.
