Federal Minister Advocates for Expansion of Licensed Fuel Stations in Balochistan

Islamabad: In a pivotal meeting with the Oil Marketing Association of Pakistan, Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan discussed the potential growth of Balochistan’s economy through the expansion of licensed fuel stations across the province.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting, led by the Senior Vice Chairman of the Oil Marketing Association, Tariq Mehmood, centered on improving the quality of fuel products and services in Balochistan. Mehmood advocated for a gradual rollout of licensed stations, which he believes will enhance the consumer experience and ensure high-quality fuel availability.

Minister Jam Kamal Khan proposed that oil companies establish multiple fuel stations in each district of Balochistan to stimulate business activities and generate employment. He also engaged Balochistan’s Chief Minister Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti during the session, who expressed strong support for the initiative.

The minister emphasized that licensed fuel stations would not only benefit consumers but also create a competitive market environment that could lead to broader economic benefits for the region. He expressed his commitment to supporting the Oil Marketing Association’s efforts towards this goal and conveyed optimism about the potential impact on Balochistan’s economic development.
