Islamabad: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, very cold weather is anticipated in hilly areas during morning and night hours. Moderate to dense fog is likely in Punjab, upper Sindh, and plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature in major cities is expected to be eight degrees centigrade in Islamabad, nine in Lahore and Peshawar, sixteen in Karachi, one in Quetta, five in Gilgit and Muzaffarabad, and zero in Murree.
The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts partly cloudy and very cold weather in Srinagar and Baramula. Partly cloudy and cold conditions are expected in Anantnag and Shopian, while Leh will experience very cold and dry weather. Jammu is expected to be cold and foggy. The forecasted temperatures for these areas are minus-two degrees centigrade in Srinagar, Pulwama, and Baramula, nine in Jammu, minus-nine in Leh, and minus-one in Anantnag and Shopian.
