Islamabad: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed to celebrate the 79th Independence Day with unprecedented enthusiasm in the province.
According to Radio Pakistan, Senior Minister of Punjab Marriyum Aurangzeb announced that the Marka-e-Haq victory this year has united the nation. The celebrations will feature a competition for the most beautiful illumination of bazars, with the best-decorated market receiving a prize.
Additionally, there will be a competition for Independence Day floats. Prizes will be awarded for the best floats and the most impressive lighting display.
