Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to further strengthen and activate the "Ask PERA" portal to ensure the prompt redressal of public complaints. According to Radio Pakistan, chairing a meeting in Lahore to review the performance of the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed the Director General of PERA to enhance direct engagement with the public. Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated that every action taken by PERA should be people-friendly and emphasized that corruption and abuse of power will not be tolerated under any circumstances. She instructed that all actions be carried out strictly in accordance with PERA rules.
