Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, has emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts among human development institutions to address climate change and rising population issues.
Addressing the G24 Ministers and Governors Meeting in Washington, he underlined the need for improved cooperation to tackle the decline in mental and physical development of children, particularly in developing countries like Pakistan.
Regarding Pakistan’s election as the second Vice President of the G24 Bureau for the fiscal year 2024-25, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb underscored the urgency of addressing key issues, including growing debt burden on developing nations.
The Finance Minister also called for mitigating the risks posed by changing climate conditions and enhancing the representation of developing countries in global financial institutions.
