Arab-Islamic Foreign Ministers Urge Iran to Cease Hostilities Against GCC and Neighboring Nations

Riyadh: A Consultative Ministerial Meeting of Foreign Ministers from Arab-Islamic countries has called on Iran to immediately halt its attacks against Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, as well as Jordan, Azerbaijan, and Turkiye.

According to Radio Pakistan, the ministers, convened in Riyadh, issued a joint statement emphasizing the importance of adhering to international law, international humanitarian law, and principles of good neighborliness. They identified these as essential steps toward de-escalation, achieving security and stability in the region, and promoting diplomacy as the preferred method for resolving the crisis.

The ministers also expressed their unwavering support for Lebanon's security, stability, and territorial integrity. Additionally, they condemned Israel's actions against Lebanon and criticized its expansionist policies in the region.
