Srinagar, July 09, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leader, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, on Tuesday expressed concern over the plight of Kashmiri political prisoners lodged in different jails of occupied Kashmir and India saying that the detainees are deprived of basic facilities in jails.
Mushtaq-ul-Islam in a statement issued in Srinagar criticized the inhuman treatment meted out to prisoners and said that the Indian authorities were deliberately not producing them before the courts to prolong their detention. He also denounced the arrest of APHC Chief Spokesman, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar, and termed his arrest and shifting to Udhampur jail as political vendetta.
